About this foal – This very attractive bay filly was selected by The Insights Magazine as one of their top 12 eventing & show jumping foals bred in the UK & Ireland for 2022. 

This filly is by Miners Lamp who is the sire of the dual Olympic Eventer Miners Frolic ridden by Team GBR’s Kristina Cook.  Miners Frolic won team bronze and the individual bronze medal at the Beijing Olympics and team silver aswell as taking 6th at the London 2012 Olympics.  Kristina and Miners Frolic also went on to become FEI European Eventing Individual Champions

This foal’s dam Templar Romance is beautifully put together and came to Gemini following a career in the Show Ring but she is blessed with an International Eventing pedigree that includes Hand In Glove who is the sire of none other than Jaguar Mail who was the leading sire of eventers in the world under the WBFSH sire rankings for Eventing Sires.  Hand In Glove Show Jumped himself to Grand Prix level before becoming a leading sire of show jumpers and eventers. 

Templar Romance is a sister to the Advanced Event mare Templar Juno who represented Team GBR at the World Young Horse Eventing Championships at Le Lion D’Angers in 2021.  Templar Juno had top 10 placings as both a 5 year old and a 6 year old at the British Eventing Breeding Championships and is also a Welton Romance Trophy Winner. 

This foal’s dam line also includes Primitive Rising who is the sire of Mary King’s Kentucky CCI5* winner Kings Temptress, William Fox-Pitt’s Kentucky CCI5* winner Cool Mountain and the dam’s sire of Boyd Martin’s 2021 Maryland CCI5* winner On Cue.

About this foal – This foal embodies the very best of 1.60m Show jumping genetics on both her dam and sire’s side and also shares extensive dam line breeding with Team GBR Eventer Monkeying Around. She is very much the model of her sire the Grand Prix Show Jumper Je T’Aime Flamenco in her stamp and markings.

By the winning Grand Prix Show Jumping stallion Je T’Aime Flamenco who was ridden with great success by Billy Twomey and was also selected for the London 2012 Olymp but didn’t run due to injury this filly has a career ahead of her either as an International Show Jumping International Eventing prospect. 

Je T’Aime Flamenco’s younger progeny have made over £100,000 at auction and continue to be highly desirable as both pure show jumping and International Eventing prospects. Je T’Aime Flamenco also shares sire line breeding via Le Tot De Semilly with Tom McEwen’s Tokyo individual silver and team gold medallist ride Toledo De Kerser.

This foal’s dam Geminis Classic Valentine is full sister to the CCI4* eventer The Classic Composer ridden by Harry Meade.  Geminis Classic Valentine also shares extensive dam line breeding with the 2022 Bramham CCI4*-L winner Monkeying Around ridden by Izzy Taylor.  Monkeying Around and Izzy Taylor also represented Team GBR at the 2021 European Eventing Championships to take 10th place and were the 2021 British Eventing Open Champions. 

Geminis Classic Valentine’s grand sire on her sire’s side is Chico’s Boy who is the sire of Gemma Tattersall’s dual CCI4* winning ride Chicos Bella P who also won the Team GBR Olympic Trial at Bramham in 2016 and was subsequently selected to represent Team GBR at the Rio Olympics.  Chico’s Boy is also the dam’s sire of Team GBR Holly Smith’s ride Denver that she rode at the Tokyo Olympics.

Geminis Classic Valentine is related via Primitive Rising to Mary King’s Kentucky CCI5* winner Kings Temptress,  William Fox-Pitt’s Kentucky CCI5* winner Cool Mountain and Boyd Martin’s Maryland CCI5* winner On Cue.

Geminis Classic Valentine has not evented herself but had an exceptionally successful career in the Show Ring winning both In Hand and under saddle with Martha Jobling who now represents Ireland on their Young Rider Dressage Team.

About this foal – This foal’s dam has already bred a beautiful daughter that has been purchased for Team GBR Event Rider Laura Collett and has little to prove as a successful dam. The dam registered simply as Zara is the only breeding daughter of Ferndale Victoria who was 3rd at Bramham International Horse Trials with the then Piggy French. Ferndale Victoria also had multiple top 3 placings at British Eventing Advanced level as well as 4* success.

Zara is 15/16ths Thoroughbred blood and is by Silver Patriach who is also the dam’s sire of Ian Stark’s CCI3* eventer Chatsworth Diamond owned by the Duchess of Devonshire.

Zara’s 2021 colt foal Geminis Viceroy was purchased for a Team GBR Young Rider who has been selected Team GBR at the 2022 European Eventing Championships.

This foal’s sire Churchill III is based with Team GBR Show Jumper Holly Smith and his breeding is blessed with the very best of Olympic Show Jumping on his sire line and Olympic Eventing genes on his dam line.  Churchill III’s grand sire is Christian-25 who represented Team GBR in 2018 with Jamie Gornall and his sire is Carthago-Z who competed at two different Olympics in pure Show Jumping.

Churchill III’s dam line features Weltmeyer and Donnerhall who also appear in the dam line breeding of 2022 Bramham CCI4*-L Winner Monkeying Around.  Weltmeyer also appears in the breeding of Rio Olympics bronze medal winner Santano II ridden by Chris Burton. Santano II pipped Upsilion into second place to win Saumur CCI4*-L in his Olympic year.

This foal has a great length of frame to produce a scopey International Show Jumper or Eventer and is beautifully uphill with an exceptional canter. She will have superb prospects either for International Show Jumping or International Eventing.

About this foal – This beautiful foal is full sister to the stallion prospect “Munnings” that is being presented for stallion grading in early 2023.  Geminis Jubilee is exquisitely put together and will have great appeal not only for Young Event Horse classes such as the Burghley Young Event Horse or Nexgen Series but also in the Show Ring.

Geminis Jubilee’s sire line relates her via Weltmeyer to Santano II who was 5th individually and won team bronze medal at the Rio Olympics with Chris Burton. Geminis Jubliee is also directly related to Team GBR Eventer Monkeying Around who was 10th at the FEI European Eventing Championships in 2021 with Izzy Taylor through both Weltmeyer and Donnherall.

Geminis Jubilee is by Classic Opera who is full brother to the Advanced Eventer The Classic Composer ridden by Harry Meade and was rated by Horse and Hound in the top 12 stallions in Great Britain.  Classic Opera already has progeny purchased for Team GBR’s Laura Collett.

Classic Opera was a British Eventing and BSJA prize winner himself as a 5 year old and was a Horse of The Year Show Cuddy In Hand Finalist himself having won and gone Champion on every outing at County Level as a 3 year old. Classic Opera sired 21 winners at County Level in the 2021 Show Season.

Classic Opera’s grand sire Chico’s Boy was the Champion of the Holstein Licensing of Show Jumpers and is the dam’s sire of Holly Smith’s Tokyo Olympics ride Denver and the sire of Gemma Tattersall’s Chico Bella P who was selected to represent Team GBR Eventing at the Rio Olympics. 

Classic Opera is still a relatively young stallion aged only 10 but has already been used on CCI5* and CCI4* mares and 100% of his foals achieved Premium Graded status with Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain in 2021 with two of these foals scoring 4 consecutive 9’s for conformation. 

Geminis Jubilee’s grand sire on her sire’s side is Classic Primitive who was a British Eventing Young Horse Champion and is a sire of multiple Advanced Event Horses. In 2019 in the 8 & 9 year old Advanced Class at Aston Le Walls only one sire had two or more horses in this class and that was Classic Primitive. He now has progeny competing at CCI4* and CCI3*.

Geminis Jubilee’s dam is an un-raced mare who was leased by The Gemini Stud and selected for her beautiful conformation, soundness and movement.

About this foal – This striking upstanding colt has inherited his sire Churchill III’s amazing upstanding powerful front and Churchill III’s pretty head but is blessed with being out of the full sister to Woodstock Bennett who was 8th at Pau CCI5* in 2018 and selected for the World Equestrian Games in the USA in the same year.

Churchill’s Sarco’s dam line gives him the benefits of the Show Jumper Darco and the Irish based stallion Shannondale Sarco.  Darco was a World Cup Qualifier winner and show jumped at the World Equestrian Games and the Barcelona Olympics

Shannondale Sarco is the sire of Coolparks Sarco who was part of Team GBR’s winning Nations Cup Team at Boekelo in 2021 and also took 4th place individually. Coolparks Sarco was also the winner of the CCI4*-S at Blenheim with Nicola Wilson last year. Shannondale Sarco is also the sire of Tom Jackson’s 2022 Badminton ride Capels Hollow Drift, Ros Canter’s CCI3*-L winner Shannondale Nadia and the Tokyo Olympic Eventer MP Imagine IF.

This foal’s sire Churchill III is based with Team GBR Show Jumper Holly Smith and he has the very best of Olympic Show Jumping and Olympic Eventing genes. On his sire’s side Churchill III has the Team GBR Show Jumper Christian-25 and the two time Olympic Show Jumper Carthago-Z.

Churchill III is out of the same mare as the Advanced Eventer The Classic Composer ridden by Harry Meade and from her he is directly related to Chris Burton’s Olympic Bronze Medal winning ride Santano II and Izzy Taylor’s Team GBR Ride Monkeying Around who won Bramham CCI4*-L this year and was 10th at the European Eventing Championships in Avenches in 2021.

This foal’s dam has scanned back in foal to Churchill III again and we look forwards to meeting this foal in 2023.
